Job Description:
Due to their continued success, our client is currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers the successful candidate genuine career progression within an expanding and developing organisation.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a quantity surveying role
*Bachelor’s HNC/D (preferred)
*Willingness and flexibility to learn new skills and working practices, as required
*A genuine desire to develop a career in construction
*Dynamic, enthusiastic and customer-focused
*Approachable and responsive.
*Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
*An eye for detail and understanding the expected standards to be delivered
*Competent in IT skills and software packages that are relevant to the role
Supporting the team of Quantity Surveyors, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Re-measurement
*Recording and distributing project information
*Assistance with Final Account preparation
*Supply chain cost control
*Enquiry preparation and analysis
*Assisting with Estimating
