Job Description:
Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Blackburn
Pay Bracket: £28,000 - £31,000
We are working well-established company specialising in the manufacturing of product for clients throughout the UK.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a business with excellent working culture and exposure opportunities. This role will report to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for supporting their accounts department on a day-to-day basis.
Your main roles and responsibilities:
*Responsible for the sales and purchase process for the business
*Responsible for both supplier customer and supplier statement reconciliation
*Dealing with supplier queries
*Processing purchase orders
*Support with the business’s credit control process
*Managing the fixed asset register
*Helping with the Finance Director with the Month End Duties
*Supporting financial support and ad hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
*AAT Qualified or relevant experience needed
*Experience in high volume industry
*Knowledge of Sage/Xero/Similar Accounts Package
*Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
*Knowledge of MRP systems
*Experienced in Payroll & VAT
