Job Description:
Our client in Gravesend is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager who is CIPP qualified with superb leadership skills to join their large team on a permanent, full time basis.
As Payroll Manager, you will report into the Finance Director and will oversee the full payroll operation.
Responsibilities include:
* Day to day management of the team and processing of high volume, in house payroll experience
* Benefits and P11D’s
* Management of the monthly pay cycle
* Training and development of the Payroll Team
* User acceptance testing for standard system releases
* HMRC/payroll corrections
* Assisting with process implementation such as cost of living changes, increment procedure, discretionary pay reviews etc.
* Annual HMRC reconciliations
* Global mobility and interaction with the University International Tax Manager
Experience required:
* CIPP qualified
* Experience of managing, motivating and developing staff
* Exemplary UK payroll knowledge
* Sound knowledge of occupational sickness, maternity and paternity schemes and their application.
