Job Description:
Student Placement Officer
*Reports to: Placement Team Leader
*Location: Ilford
*Salary: £30,000-£33,000
*Type: Full-time
Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Ilford.
Role Purpose
*Source high-quality, sustainable work experience and industry placements for learners aged 16 and over.
*Act as the main contact for employers while they host students on work placements.
*Collaborate with learners, employers, and staff to help students achieve their career goals.
Main Duties
*Collaborate with staff to ensure placements help students develop relevant work and technical skills.
*Develop new placement opportunities and ensure timely, effective communication with employers to maintain satisfaction.
*Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with employers and agencies.
*Monitor students’ attendance and progress during work placements, supporting their development.
*Work with external partners, employers, and agencies.
*Keep the CRM updated with past, current, and potential work placements.
Requirements
*Relevant experience
*Dedication to supporting students
*Previous Enhanced DBS - Desired
*Strong IT skills
*No previous convictions
