BASIC SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000 (negotiable depending on background, experience, and potential)

· 1ST YEAR ON TARGET EARNINGS OF £25,000 - 35,000 (QUARTELY, UNCAPPED)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Representative- Medical Devices
Covering either the North-West or North-East, you will strategically develop education-based clinical sales across multiple hospital departments within NHS accounts, across our range of capital equipment products and projects. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our medical technology solutions across multiple hospitals within your territory. You will excel in both account development and new business development, with a strong focus on building lasting relationships and identifying new opportunities.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Representative- Medical Devices
· Create and own your business plan.
· Strategic territory planning; mapping out the mechanics of each account and prospect, across a broad geography.
· 60% account development, 40% business development, via a combination of telephone, digital and face to face methods (whilst protecting our accounts is always our first priority, we envisage that a greater emphasis will be placed on new business development as you further develop & grow your territory).
· Promote / differentiate our company through the total value proposition offered, demonstrated via presentations hospital trials, training, and education.
· Working in acute an dsub acute hospital departments  and other key hospital settings, in close association with consultants, clinicians, and nursing staff.  
· Develop key relationships with KOLs, to highlight us as their partner of choice.
· Providing seamless sales support and customer service throughout the entire customer experience, including relevant training.
· Utilising existing client visits as networking opportunities.
· Become a Trusted Advisor, both to customers and prospects.
· Closing deals and achieving sales targets.
· Spending 5 days per week out in the field, to include attending exhibitions, workshops & educational meetings.
· Occasionally working evenings to cover clinical users on night shift (circa 1-2 times per months), as well as providing on-site cover over the occasional weekend.
 
 PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Representative- Medical Devices
· Proven experience in sales within the medical devices sector, backed with tangible evidence of achievements.
· Strong understanding of medical technology products and their applications.
· Experience of winning new business to multiple NHS stakeholders, for example critical care, theatres, consultants, Key Opinion Leaders, specialist nursing, procurement, and finance.
· Methodical and able to create own structure, with a long-term strategic mindset.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
· Resilient and creative in problem-solving.
