Finance Manager / Liverpool / Salary £55,000 - £60,000 plus other great benefits
We’re delighted to be working with a well-established, privately owned organisation in Liverpool; who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager into this newly created role.
With recent expansions and exciting plans on the horizon, this organisation is now looking to bring on a Finance Manager to manage the day-to-day finance team and support the CFO to drive financial strategy and operations.
Key duties:
*The Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations and manage a small but experienced finance team of (4).
*In this hands on role, your duties will be broad and varied where you will be leading and managing the team to ensure month-end if processed effectively and efficiently.
*You will be directly involved and overseeing day-to-day tasks, including transactional processing, cash flow management, and reconciliations, to ensure the financial processes are actively managed.
*Manage the full accounting cycle-from invoicing and payroll to month-end close and annual audits-taking responsibility for accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
*Team leadership - you will cultivate a sense of responsibility within the team by setting clear expectations and encouraging accountability. Empower team members to take ownership of their tasks and projects.
*You will support with budget management, strategic financial planning, and providing enhanced data analysis to support the CFO with informed decisions.
*You will develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models that support the company’s growth goals.
*Process Optimisation - You will identify and implement process improvements that streamline finance operations, automating routine tasks.
Key skills:
*Financial Management experience - leading a small team.
*Excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
*Fully Qualified or QBE
*Collaborative Communication - able to engage with both financial and non-financial colleagues effectively.
*Available to start on a shorter notice period is desirable
