Job Description:
An exciting opportunity for a Shift Leader to work for a leading FM service provider on a site near Stratford London. Working for a highly esteemed maintenance provider, on a renowned contract, the Shift Lead Engineer will work a 4 on, 4 off, 7am - 7pm, shift pattern, leading a team of Maintenance Engineers.
As part of the day engineering team, you will be responsible for mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works and emergency response on site. The Shift Leader will either be Electrically or mechanically biased holding City and Guilds / NVQ qualifications.
If you have a proven career history within building services maintenance, with the ability to lead a team to successfully deliver contractually required levels of service delivery, this is a fantastic chance to continue to develop and progress your career on a site outside of Central London.
Duties:
*PPMs & Reactive maintenance
*Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
*Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
*Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
*Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
*Organising subcontractors
*Completing logbooks and RAMS
*Reports
*Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
*Permits to work
*Raise and close jobs on PDA’s as necessary.
Requirements:
*City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations or Mechanical engineering
*Ability to lead a days engineering maintenance team
*Building Services Maintenance experience
*Career driven and motivated
*Polite and personable
Salary and Benefits:
*£47,000 Per Annum + 10% bonus
*4 on, 4 off Days Only, 7am - 7pm
*20 days holiday
