Your new role
This top 100 national law firm are looking for 2X lawyers to join their Restructuring and Insolvency team based in their London office.
The firm has recently hired into this team and are looking to expand further with an associate and/or senior associate hire. They are looking for candidates with contentious and/or non contentious experience in this area.
The team is made up of 15 lawyers including 5 market-leading partners.
The team offers specialist advice to insolvency practitioners, businesses, individuals, directors, lenders and other stakeholders in both contentious and non-contentious areas of restructuring and insolvency on both a domestic and cross-border basis. The team also advises insolvency practitioners, lenders, borrowers, directors, distressed investors and other relevant organisations and individuals on their rights and obligations in respect of both transactional and contentious work.
The team frequently undertakes transactional (pre-packs, administrations, CVAs, restructuring plans, cross-border restructurings), contentious (personal and corporate insolvency, for example acting for officeholders, creditors and other stakeholders, actions against or defending former directors and advice relating to antecedent transactions), enforcement and general advisory work.
