Job Description:
We have an opportunity for a full time permanent Housing Officer to join ourSupportedHousing team.
You’ll be based out of our Bristol or Newbury office, covering oursupportedhousing properties across Bristol, Oxfordshire and West Berkshire.
This will be a hybrid role working in the office, at home and out in the field withour customers, visiting properties and liaisingwithour partners.
The starting salary is £32,000 - £38,000 depending on experience.
The role
OurSupportedHousing team provide a wide range of services, including temporaryaccommodation for adults, young people and families at risk of homelessness, Housing First tenancies, housing for adults and young peoplewithdisabilities or mental illness, those experiencing domestic abuse, extra carehousing and individual properties for customers withidentifiedsupport needs.
As a Housing Officer you’ll use your knowledge and skills to provide a comprehensive and effectivetenancy and estate management functionfor customers in oursupportedhousing properties.
It’s an intensive and varied housingmanagementrole where you’ll be dealing with a range of tasks including tenancy management, neighbourhood standard inspections, managing lettings and management queries and liaisingwithourcare providers.
To be successful in this role you will have:
*Experience in a Housingrole
*An understanding of supportingvulnerablepeople
*Experience of working with internal and external partners
*Empathy and resilience
*The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised
*Excellent collaboration and communication skills
