JOB - Quality Inspector
LOCATION - Oxfordshire
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the manufacturing industry who is passionate about quality control and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
*Conduct visual and dimensional quality inspections on products and components
*Provide technical support and resolve queries in collaboration with the Test and Inspection team
*Review production rejects and identify areas for improvement
*Perform equipment calibration as required
*Maintain and update document control records
*Assist in reviewing supplier quality, including ICARs and improvement plans
*Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and testing outcomes
*Support production testing and witness external testing processes when needed
Essential Qualifications
*Solid foundation in engineering principles
*Strong understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001 required; AS9100 or equivalent preferred)
*Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
*Excellent communication skills, adaptable to all levels of the organization
*Proficiency in IT skills, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
