Panel Builder - Permanent Position (UK-Based Applicants Only)
Are you an experienced Panel Builder looking to be part of an innovative team within the marine, renewable, and offshore sectors? Join our client - a fast-growing engineering company known for designing and building high-quality, bespoke electrical control systems. We’re seeking skilled Panel Builders/Wirers who can bring expertise and attention to detail to our client’s workshop.
About the Role
In this hands-on role, you will work on custom-built electrical systems and handle the assembly and wiring of equipment such as:
- Marine switchboards and distribution boards
- Power and control containers for sub sea equipment
- PLC-based control systems
- Variable speed drive systems
- Winch control systems
- Energy storage systems, including battery and super capacitor setups
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Strong ability to interpret and work from electrical schematic drawings.
- Previous experience in electrical panel building.
- Ideally, a full UK driving license and the ability to drive company vehicles.
- This position is for UK-based applicants, as sponsorship is not available.
