Job Description:
QUALITY INSPECTOR AND ASSEMBLER
The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience in Inspection. Experience with Marine Turbocharger arena
Quality Inspector Main Duties & Responsibilities:
*Detailed inspection of all components upon entry using onsite precision measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers etc…
*Pre-process and final inspection checks of assembled components
*Assembling of components according to internal processes (will be taught within the role)
*Balancing of rotors
*Calibration logging of tooling and inspection
*Recording information for audit purposes
*Carrying out internal audits (this item is progressive and will be taught within the role)
*Traceability and process improvement management
The following skills are required
*Attention to detail.
*Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills
*Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications.
*Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines.
*Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team.
