Job Description:
Salary: £17,500 per annum (£29,168 FTE) plus benefits
Hours: Part time, 3 days or 21 hours per week
Term: Fixed Term - 12 months
We are currently seeking a Special Events Assistant, to join our Events team in one of the most iconic buildings in the world, St Paul’s Cathedral for a fixed term, 12-month, contract.
As part of the team, you will provide essential administrative support in the planning and delivery of special services and events within the Cathedral including high profile and Diocesan services, fundraising and other non-corporate events, such as exhibitions, social events and receptions. In addition, you will administer the Cathedral-wide diary.
We are looking for you to have:
· the ability to plan and prioritise work and handle a wide range of work simultaneously
· excellent attention to detail
· confident, clear and effective communication skills
· the ability to build strong and effective working relationships
· experience of using Artifax or other comparable diary management software

· Our annual holiday allowance is 25 days plus bank holidays (FTE)
