Job Description:
Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Salary: £31,600
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join their team at a 4-bedded therapeutic children’s residential service based in Burton-on-Trent. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Providing day-to-day support and guidance to a team of support workers.
*Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans in collaboration with other professionals.
*Ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people at all times.
*Promoting a nurturing and therapeutic environment within the residential service.
*Actively engaging children and young people in meaningful activities and experiences.
*Administering medication and maintaining accurate records as required.
Requirements:
*Level 3/4 qualification in children and young people (or equivalent).
*Full UK driving license.
*At least 2 years of supervisory experience in children’s residential care.
*Experience working with children and young people with EBD.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
*Flexibility to work shifts, including long days, weekends, and sleep-ins.
