Deputy Manager - Children’s EBD Service
Location: Northampton
Salary: £33,500 per annum
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)? Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join their 5-bed EBD service in Northampton.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
*Lead and manage the team, ensuring a high standard of care and support for the children.
*Oversee the care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding processes.
*Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, promoting personal development.
*Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Requirements:
*Previous experience in a children’s residential setting, preferably with EBD services.
*Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
*A thorough understanding of safeguarding, care plans, and Ofsted regulations.
*NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent), with a willingness to work towards Level 5.
*A compassionate, resilient, and dedicated approach to supporting vulnerable children.
*Full UK driving license.
