Payroll Assistant
Location: Gloucester

We are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our client’s established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll services for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll and a keen eye for detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Processing weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
*Managing and resolving payroll queries from clients and employees efficiently.
*Ensuring strict compliance with payroll legislation and best practices.
*Preparing and submitting detailed payroll reports.
*Liaising with HMRC and other statutory bodies as required to maintain compliance and address any issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in a payroll environment.
*Knowledge of payroll legislation and procedures.
*Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
*Proficiency in payroll software is essential.
