About Us:
Colmore Education is actively seeking a qualified and dedicated Computer Studies Teacher to join a vibrant mainstream secondary school based in Erdington. This position involves teaching Computer Studies across Key Stages 3 to 5, engaging students with innovative, curriculum-aligned lessons to cultivate a deep understanding of computing concepts and digital skills.
Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging Computer Studies lessons to KS3-KS5 students.
*Prepare students for assessments and examinations in Computer Science.
*Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to support their learning journey.
*Collaborate with colleagues to foster an inclusive, dynamic, and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching Computer Studies at the secondary level, ideally through KS3 to KS5.
*Strong knowledge of the computing curriculum and a passion for inspiring young minds.
*Ability to start immediately is essential.
