EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Permanent, Full-Time, Visa Sponsorship (if required)

Our client is currently seeking a passionate and hard-working individual to join their team in supporting the inclusion of children and young people.
You will get the chance to join a diverse team of Educational Psychologists who will provide the support you need through a number of projects and interventions within schools and Early Years settings around the local area. The role involves specialist SEND and Inclusion Service, with a range of psychology-led multidisciplinary teams which encourages professional development and offers excellent career opportunities for the future.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have obtained all relevant qualifications and experience in your home country. For example;
Australia = Master’s in Psychology (Educational and Developmental), registration with AHPRA
New Zealand = Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology, registration with New Zealand Psychologists Board
South Africa = Master’s in Educational Psychology, registration with HPCSA
Zimbabwe = Master’s in Psychology (Education), registration with Allied Health Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities might include (but is not limited to):
*Complete face-to-face psychological needs assessments for young people aged 0-25.
*Provide professionally written psychological advice to an exceptional standard, detailing psychological conclusions, with specific and quantifiable provision, within a timely manner, following company templates.
*Liaise with SEND advocates, school staff, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Paediatricians, and other professionals to ensure a holistic understanding of the young person you are supporting.
*Attend remote SEND tribunals as an expert witness for which training will given.
*Be involved in early intervention, therapy work and staff training, where required.
You will be provided with all tools and thorough inductions as required as well as high quality supervision and peer support.
