Purpose and Objectives:
The Change Analyst role covers a range of analytical and creative activities with the purpose of discovering challenges and designing solutions to affect impactful change across people, process, technology, and culture.
Analyse the efficiency and effectiveness of organisations and services, working with colleagues and clients to diagnose and evidence challenges
Identify evidence-based solutions and develop recommendations for future service design
Work closely with service design team members and subject matter experts in the delivery of complex and critical projects across housing, social care, and other socially-focused sectors
Work with clients to help them design, plan, and deliver positive and impactful change
Key Responsibilities
Service Design:
Through the adoption of service design principles, work with colleagues to design creative and efficient solutions, incorporating process redesign, organisational design, operating model development, behaviours, culture, and ways of working.
Identify opportunities for service improvement through the comprehensive mapping and analysis of current and future states by employing a range of discovery tools and analysis of data.
Project delivery:
Take responsibility for the delivery of defined activities or workstreams within larger projects, or delivery of smaller projects.
Produce high quality presentations and reports for client projects, providing evidenced-based insights that are easy to understand, and demonstrating high standards of written work and attention to detail.
Work with client-side colleagues as part of a project team. Support facilitation of workshops and other key engagement activities.
Project management
Ensure work is delivered on time and fulfils the brief given to a high standard.
As part of a wider project team, assist with the identification, recording and management of risks and issues in the delivery of projects.
Overcome challenges within projects, demonstrating strong use of initiative and independent working
Teamwork
Contribute to the development of quality new business proposals and product development, as part of a wider team.
Utilise knowledge and skills to support and aid the development of others, both in a formal mentoring capacity and as subject matter experts.

Education and Personal Development - Business Analysis and/or Process Improvement qualification - Desirable
Skills and Personal Attributes: (Essential)
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Good spoken and written communication skills
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and produce accurate work within tight deadlines
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision, whilst also remaining team focussed
Ability to use own initiative
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to negotiate and influence others, deliver presentations and engage in briefings and meetings.
Knowledge - Demonstrate an understanding of service design and/or experience of applying it.
Experience - Minimum of c. 2-years’ experience working in a project-based role related to change, transformation, or continuous improvement, preferably within a socially focused sector, Minimum of c. 1-year experience delivering process mapping as part of a change project.
Core Competencies - Effective collaboration with a diverse range of people and organisations, Able to demonstrate a methodical approach to analysis and attention to detail.
