Job Description:
Our client, a leader in relocation services, is expanding and seeking a skilled Global Relocation Manager to join their dynamic UK-based team. This role will cater to VIP and high net worth individuals, providing high-touch global mobility and destination services to ensure a seamless, ’white-glove’ relocation experience.
As a VIP Global Relocation Manager, you will oversee the relocation journey from start to finish, guiding assignees and their families with bespoke, high-level support. This role requires a blend of expertise in global mobility, relocation, and destination services, ensuring each transition is smooth and efficient for your clients.
Key Responsibilities
*Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of the relocation and global mobility services for VIPs and HNW individuals.
*Oversee complex caseloads with a commitment to providing high-quality client service and maintaining strict confidentiality.
*Collaborate with destination service providers and manage supplier relationships to deliver tailored relocation experiences.
*Coordinate destination services, such as home search, school placement, tenancy management, and temporary housing.
*Facilitate door-to-door shipment logistics, including handling household goods and high-value items.
*Serve as an expert advisor on international relocation policies, procedures, and best practices.
*Provide concierge-level support for special requests, such as luxury goods relocation, hiring private jets, and sourcing bespoke services.
*Manage customs documentation and logistics for international moves, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
*Act as a strategic partner with HR and global mobility teams to support seamless employee transitions.
*Maintain accurate records and manage data with meticulous attention to detail.
*Support client review meetings and presentations to showcase service success and client satisfaction.
Skills and Experience Required
*A minimum of 5 years in relocation or global mobility services, with a focus on VIP and executive-level client care.
*Prior in-house global mobility or client-side experience is highly advantageous.
*Expertise in handling international relocations, especially for senior executives and high net worth individuals.
*Comprehensive understanding of the relocation process, including international household goods transportation.
*Solid knowledge of the UK property market for rentals and purchases, with an understanding of relevant property law and tenancy requirements.
*Commercial acumen to optimise service profitability while delivering high-touch client experiences.
*Exceptional relationship-building abilities, with the confidence and poise to interact with clients at all levels.
*A consultative, proactive approach to problem-solving and client management.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong presentation abilities.
*High attention to detail in data and records management, ensuring accuracy in all documentation.
*Flexibility and adaptability, thriving under pressure and maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
*Proven organisational skills, managing time effectively and prioritising tasks efficiently.
*A commitment to learning and professional growth, demonstrating initiative in skill development.
*A passion for delivering first-class client service with a deep interest in global mobility.
*Proficient in English; fluency in French is highly advantageous.
