SEN Planning Review Officer
Location: Ferndown, Dorset
Contract Type: Temporary
Salary: £280 per day (Umbrella)
Myn is recruiting for our long-term partner, seeking a committed SEN Planning Review Officer to support and enhance the planning and review of SEND processes. This role is key to ensuring the voices of children and families are central to the EHCP process.
What You’ll Do:
- Complete EHCPs and oversee SEND processes, ensuring all children and families are involved.
- Provide guidance on the SEND Tribunal process and support families through appeals.
- Attend multi-agency meetings to share insights, helping children achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records, update data, and track progress to drive improvements.
- Prioritise effectively to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
- Collaborate as part of a multi-agency team and enjoy opportunities to train and connect with other SEND professionals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Relevant professional qualification, minimum GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above), with post-qualification experience.
- Experience in the SEN field, with strong knowledge of statutory SEND processes.
- Understanding of Local Authority functions or similar complex organisational settings.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce clear reports.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills for data management and reporting.
- Team-oriented, with a proactive approach and commitment to the ’one team’ mentality.
- Full UK driving licence for travel as required.
