Job Summary:
At Canada Life the Retirement division is responsible for both Home Finance and Individual Annuity products. The Retirement division is one of four key areas within Canada Life UK. The Business Performance Administrator role will be support both Home Finance and Individual Annuities, located within our London City office.

The Business Performance Administrator role holder will get the opportunity to be responsible for the production of both funder and business MI, and supporting the Business Performance team activities. The role holder will be expected to assist in research and analysis of competitor pricing for the Business Performance Manager to support internal and external funder Equity Release Mortgage strategies. The role holder will work closely with the Business Performance Senior Analyst, supporting with ad-hoc analysis and preparation of management committee papers.
Job Duties:
1. Helps with the production of MI relating to funder activity and portfolio performance. MI produced feeds into funder management packs for Joint Management Boards / Joint Advisory Committees. Records actions when required.
2. Produces weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for Retirement senior management and funders
3. Supports the Business Performance team with bespoke analysis to identify reasons for performance and various ad-hoc Retirement team projects. Assisting with queries from Finance and Underwriting teams.
4. Produces ad-hoc MI to Business Performance team. Seeks to acquire knowledge of trading performance, sales and product positioning.
5. Co-ordinates and collates Business Performance team committees packs. Records actions at various committees when required.
6. Assist in the continuous review and improvement of the department’s processes and
procedures, ensuring appropriate governance of models and documentation.
7. Supports the Distribution team through the development and understanding of MI
8. Managing the process of implementing pricing changes to support Retirement strategies and funder objectives
Experience Required:
• Requires strong time management and organisational skills
• Requires attention to detail and high level of numeracy
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint


Qualifications:
• Financial and numerical reasoning to degree level equivalent
• Good understanding of MI techniques, forecasting and practices
• Good communicator both written and orally
