A respected diocese of the Catholic church, one of the largest in terms of Catholic population and priests.
The Role
Our client is seeking an exceptional Senior FP&A Manager to lead our financial planning and analysis team. This pivotal role involves driving strategic financial insights, managing comprehensive budgeting processes, and supporting the diocese’s mission through rigorous financial leadership.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
*Lead and mentor the Financial Planning & Analysis team
*Own end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes
*Manage monthly and quarterly financial reporting
*Drive organisational efficiency through process improvements
*Lead statutory audit processes and external reporting
*Develop and maintain robust financial control frameworks
The Successful Candidate
*Certified accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA etc)
*Minimum 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, financial controller, or similar role
*Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
*Proven team management experience
*Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
*Excellent analytical and communication skills
