Job Description:
Role: Placed Youth Support Worker
Salary: Up to £29,053 per annum to include 2 sleep ins per week. 3 Days on including 2 sleeps 4 off shift pattern
Hours: Full time Days 8am-10pm plus sleeps
Location: Manchester area
Please note a Full UK driving licence is desirable for this role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in providing essential support to young people aged 16 to 18 in supported accommodation. This role involves working shifts from 8 AM to 10 PM plus sleep ins, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support and guidance to young residents, fostering a positive and safe living environment.
- Engage in effective communication to build trust and rapport, enabling residents to express their needs and aspirations.
- Handle challenging situations with patience and resilience, ensuring the well-being of all individuals in your care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records, documenting interactions and progress to support safeguarding and effective service delivery.
