Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Salary: £13.70 per hour + £60 per sleep-in
Our client is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to join their 4-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) service in Burton-on-Trent. If you’re experienced in supporting children and young people and are ready for a senior role, this is a great opportunity to lead by example and provide high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and supervise the day-to-day care of young people in the home
*Support junior staff in implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
*Promote positive behaviours and support the emotional and physical well-being of young people
*Participate in a rotating shift pattern, including sleep-ins, to ensure 24-hour care
Shift Pattern:
*Rolling rota of 1 day on, 2 days off (including sleep-ins)
*Shifts operate between 9:30 am and 11:00 pm
Requirements:
*Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Children’s Care (or equivalent)
*Full UK driving licence
*Experience in a residential care setting, with strong leadership skills
