Job Description:
Business Development roles can be sales, can be relationship building, can be partnerships, can be strategy, or, in this instance, can be all of the above. Why? B2B is a recent channel within this financial services business and having got off the ground through the directors leading, there is now a requirement for an established B2B Business Development Manager to drive this growth going forward. This creates an exciting opportunity to see rapid development of results and of your role into an exec level position.
To be considered for such an opportunity you’ll need to be able to clearly demonstrate a record of establishing, securing and developing relationships with senior leaders in business. You’ll be targeting businesses at a range of levels with multiple products and opportunities that can be bespoke tailored to each company. Experience in a similarly dynamic model would be advantageous.
About You:
*Experience in B2B business development either for a financial services or to financial services businesses.
*Ability to identify potential markets and develop strategy to access segments with different propositions.
*Confidence establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with new partners.
*Engaging personality able and willing to attend events, conferences, networking across the UK.
*Digitally astute able to drive and utilise digital lead generation for b2b campaigns.
*Knowledge of b2b CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Leading the delivery of the b2b channel growth.
*Attending multiple events on behalf of the company and establishing new business relationships.
*Nurturing relationships to identify business opportunities and developing appropriate propositions to drive commercial revenue.
*Creating and conducting pitch proposals.
*Managing existing partner relationships to increase opportunities and ensure positive partner experience.
Where You’ll Be Based:
This role is able to be home based but would require easy access to the businesses Yorkshire office multiple times each month so would best suit those in the North across Yorkshire, Manchester, Nottinghamshire and possibly commuting south from Edinburgh.
