A well-established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Manchester is seeking a Senior Audit Associate with over 3 years of experience to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing audits from planning through to completion, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities: *Audit Execution: Lead audit assignments from initial planning through to finalization, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and client requirements.
*Client Interaction: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing advice on financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
*Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and technical support to ensure audit work is carried out effectively and efficiently.
*Audit Review: Review audit files and reports, identifying any areas of risk, and ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standards.
*Business Development: Support senior management in identifying new business opportunities, helping the firm expand its client base.
*Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest auditing and financial reporting regulations, ensuring compliance and technical accuracy in all audit engagements.
Candidate Requirements: *Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
*Experience: Minimum of 3 years of audit experience, preferably within a practice environment.
*Skills:
*Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards.
*Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships and communicate complex information clearly.
*Ability to lead and manage audit teams, ensuring quality and efficiency in all assignments.
