Job Description:
* As a Senior Global IT Procurement Lead, you will be directly responsible for managing critical commercial deals across IT categories and multiple geographies and operating entities which would include engaging third-party resources across all technology groups globally. You will be required to work collaboratively and strategically with multiple internal teams sitting across Procurement and Legal and SME functions, and with External Suppliers, to deliver a consistently high-quality service.
Experience in developing and maintaining a global stakeholder network in a complex and dynamic business environment.
Experienced in leading complex, high value Technology contracts
Experience working with vendors providing software and services to major global organisations
Experience working in a multi-national organisation
Procurement & Sourcing Transformation
Resilience and confidence when operating in an environment where change is the norm and cope with multiple priorities
In depth external market knowledge and commercial best practice and be able to coach and develop colleagues and engage and manage demanding stakeholders
Ability to understand complex contractual documentation and identification of key issues
Effective communication with senior colleagues / stakeholders (including experience in writing and presenting papers and presentations up to Board level)
Ability to cope with multiple priorities in a changing environment
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to negotiate and influence in a collaborative manner
Strategic thinker with the ability to see the longer-term impacts of plans and the potential for improvement
