Job Description:
Private Client Paralegal
Prestigious UK law firm seeks a Private Client Paralegal to join their award-winning Private Wealth team in London on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.
*Salary to £30,000
*Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)
*9.30am to 5.30pm
Private Client Paralegal Key Responsibilities:
*Collating information for assets and liabilities
*Draft Legal Statements and basic inheritance tax accounts
*Carry out Bankruptcy searches / Land Registry searches / ID for beneficiaries / Companies House searches / will searches / asset searches
*Chasing HMRC and the Probate Registry by phone
*E-Filing and where required helping with paper files / ring binders
*Help keep precedents and probate checklist up to date
*Reviewing / closing client files
Private Client Paralegal Key Skills & Requirements:
*Paralegal experience gained within a Private Client / Private Wealth / Probate department
*Competent on all MS Office packages
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to pick up new systems and procedures quickly
