Job Description:
Job Title: Deputy Manager
Location: Swadlincote
Salary: £14.50 per hour + £60 per sleep-in
Our client is recruiting a dedicated Deputy Manager for their 4-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) service in Swadlincote. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained
*Lead and support staff in the implementation of individual care plans
*Promote positive behaviour and support the emotional and physical well-being of young people
*Participate in a rotating shift pattern, including sleep-ins, and complete ad hoc on-call responsibilities
Shift Pattern:
*1 day on, 2 days off (including sleep-ins)
*Shifts operate between 9:30 am and 11:00 pm
Requirements:
*Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Children’s Care (or equivalent)
*Full UK driving licence
*Previous experience in a residential setting with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
