We are seeking a proactive and community minded Head of Operations to lead on all aspects of risk management and Health & Safety for this prestigious Grammar School in West Kent.
Reporting to the Headteacher, the Head of Operations will lead a team of six staff including the Premises Manager and will advise the SLT on all aspects of health & safety management and property risk queries, across two sites.
You will develop the school’s strategy to ensure it is providing the best facilities for its staff and students, be proactive in maximizing lettings income, develop and manage the budget for capital projects, and facilitate and manage contracts for catering and cleaning staff.
The successful Head of Operations will be IOSH/NEBOSH accredited and has a thorough understanding of compliance to include fire safety, water management and associated checks.
You will be a natural manager with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff across the board. You will be community minded and ready to support extracurricular activities such as school social events when required. On a personal note, you will bring energy, a positive attitude and good commercial acumen.
