Job Description:
Hexagon Group are delighted to be working with a city based professional services organisation who are now seeking to recruit a Technical Services Manager within their Facilities Management Team.
The successful postholder will be responsible for ensuring high standards in maintenance, regulatory/statutory compliance, technical projects, and sustainable practices across their office portfolio, through the effective management of their outsourced Facilities Services partners and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and optimise technical services, including planned and reactive maintenance of Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure, Lifts, BMS.
Implement energy-saving initiatives, track usage, and identify areas for reducing consumption and costs.
Help plan and oversee building shutdowns, coordinating with stakeholders to minimise interruptions to business operations.
Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance across all managed sites.
Manage contractors, monitoring performance against SLAs and KPIs.
Collaborate on sustainability goals to improve operational efficiency and environmental impact.
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have senior-level engineering management experience, a strong track record of service improvement, and expertise in managing Hared Services budgets. You will hold an engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) qualification and should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
