Project Manager
We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join a company based in Brighton on a permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 11am - 6.30pm 30 hours a week. This is a fully office-based role and will be paying a salary between £25,350 - £29,250 per annum, pro rata (DOE).
Duties will include but not be limited to:
*Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Deputy Manager, Play Workers, Bank Staff, and Volunteers
*Leading all operational tasks for clubs and play schemes
*Arranging meetings and carrying out supervision, training, and appraisals with all staff/volunteers
*Ensuring the team understand and meet children’s individual needs in accordance with their care plans
*Building relationships with parents/carers and being the main point of contact for all enquires
*Supporting with general administration task such as completing daily and annual Risk Assessments and other documentation
*Ensuring all safeguarding procedures are being followed and that staff feedback and safeguarding is provided at the end of each session
*Following Environmental Health inspection recommendations and ensuring food hygiene standards are maintained to a high level
*Monitoring equipment for safety and repairs/replacement and report to the Community Partnerships Manager to action if required
*Supporting the Operations Manager with other ad hoc tasks
To be successful for this position, you must have experience of team management in a childcare and ideally qualified to Level 3 in Childcare. You must also have high attention to detail, strong communication skills, with the ability to build good working relationships and keep calm in challenging situations. This role requires an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
