Interim Finance Manager (6 month FTC, temp to perm opportunity) | Greater Manchester (West) | £55,000 - £65,000 plus benefits including flex start & finish times, free parking, excellent career progression | Rapid Growth SME

About the role
This role will manage the finance function on a day to day basis, looking after a small team. The successful candidate will be able to start at short notice in November 2024, will be a qualified accountant and be able to hit the ground running quickly in a fast paced environment.
Key responsibilities
*Management of a small finance team
*Budget and forecasting including cashflow and long-term working capital requirements
*Production of the monthly management accounts, and year end accounts
*Budget production and monthly management cross-functionally
*Accounts payable, credit control and banking
*Cashflow and treasury
*Getting the businesses accounts and processes ’audit ready’
*Ad hoc insight support to non-finance teams
Person profile
*ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
*Experience from a fast paced consumer environment essential (manufacturing, logistics, retail, FMCG)
*Demonstrable experience of adding value, problem solving and enabling business growth
*Confident communicator both with non-finance internal and external stakeholders
*First class communication skills and ability to manage, coach and develop a team
*Strong systems, FP&A and Excel skills
