Our client is looking for their first legal hire, the successful Corporate Lawyer is required to head up the legal services division in a well known local accountancy and consultancy firm.

Description
*Provide a wide range of corporate legal advice to a diverse clientele
*Draft and negotiate a range of corporate contracts.
*Provide corporate advice including M&A, joint ventures, insolvency and restructuring.
*Advise on corporate governance and regulatory compliance
*Liaise with other departments to provide a holistic service to clients
*Keep up-to-date with changes in corporate law
*No business development is required in this role as you will be providing advice to already known clients.
*There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to grow the legal services function
Profile
A successful Corporate Lawyer should have:
*A relevant legal qualification
*Excellent knowledge of corporate law
*Strong drafting and negotiation skills
*Ability to manage a diverse caseload
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A client-focused approach and strong business acumen
*Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Job Offer
*A competitive salary in the region of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum DOE.
