FULL-TIME POSITION WORKING DAYS & NIGHTS
£30,000 PER ANNUM
People Solutions are looking for experienced Security Officers for an exciting opportunity with our client, a Manufacturing Facility in Manchester.
This role will be covering the security for a single Manufacturing site and is a full time and permanent opportunity.
Shift pattern:
*1st shift - 2 days & 2 nights
*2nd shift - 2 days & 3 nights
*3rd shift - 3 days & 2 nights

Day to Day Duties
As a Security Officer your duties will involve:
*To follow all site security procedures
*Ensuring the site is safe and secure at all times. Locking of all gates and barriers as required
*Patrolling of factory, offices and outbuildings. Ensuring all doors / shutters / gates are locked.
*Physical patrols to take place 4 times per night on weekday nights and on weekend days and nights. CCTV patrols - to be recorded hourly utilising individual security login
*Operating of the intruder Alarm Systems / Fire alarm systems / Access control systems
*Ensure accurate records are kept on the Security PC including Diary / Handover / Keys / Checks Deliveries & Collections / Pool car / Energy Report / Accident reports / Incident reporting
*Issuing parking passes (including bike passes) as required
*Reporting any suspicious activities to Line Manager or Management as appropriate
Essential Skills
It is Essential as a Security Officer that you:
*Are polite, punctual and professional at all times
*Comfortable working regular night shifts
Desirable Experience
It would be desirable as a Security Officer if you:
*Had experience working in a similar Security position
*Were able to start as soon as possible
