Job Opportunity: Frame Assembler
Location: Cramlington
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Frame Assembler to build high-quality frames for our upholstered furniture, working with both standard and custom designs. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
*Frame Assembly: Construct frames from hardwood components according to specifications, ensuring each frame meets quality standards.
*Machine and Tool Operation: Safely set up and operate various machines and tools, including saws, planning machines, straight-line edgers, borers, air tools, and hand tools.
*Workplace Maintenance: Keep the workspace organized and maintain a clean, safe environment.
*Health and Safety: Follow health and safety procedures to protect yourself and others in the workspace.
Skills & Experience:
*Experience in frame assembly or joinery, with knowledge of wood properties.
*Skilled in setting up and operating conventional wood machines.
*Proficiency with hand tools, with a keen eye for detail.
*Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and solve problems as needed.
Ideal Traits:
*Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.
*Reliable and adaptable, with the physical stamina for hands-on work.
