Learning Support Assistant - Newcastle
Milk Education are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant for an ’Outstanding’ Primary School in Newcastle to work on a long-term basis starting as soon as possible! You will be assigned to pupils on a 1:1 basis and providing general class support.

Learning Support Assistant Role & Responsibilities:
? Encourage and find ways to engage pupils in their work
? Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
? Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
? Deliver catch-up sessions
Learning Support Assistant Non-negotiables:
? Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
? Must have a passion for education
? Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
? Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
