As Product Stewardship Manager you will join a Product Stewardship & Regulatory and Compliance team for a global organisation. As Product Stewardship Manager you will be responsible for managing a small team of people. As Product Stewardship manager you will be a Divisional leader for Product Stewardship working with the businesses to be the lead contact for work. As Product Stewardship Manager you will be responsible for ensure the task, projects and work performed in the designated is completed according to timelines and budget. With a strong chemistry background and product stewardship expert you will be a leader in designated area showing technical strength and depth to resolve functional issues and offer suggestions for improvement to managers.

Key Responsibilities
*Pro-actively identify, report on and improve safety related issues using available tools and systems
*Able to manage and maintain multiple levels of expertise and insight within the specified regulatory field / topic
*Apply a high level of scientific rigor to the analysis and assessment of data to draw and present conclusions in support of business decision making
*Responsible for delivery of subject matter projects in support of legislative changes, issues or market concerns
*Supporting experienced scientific staff in understanding Subject Matter
*Clearly communicate findings/ requirements in respect of sustainability topics / regulatory queries
*Partner with business units to proactively engage with subject matter as required
*Building a network within wider organisation, e.g., technical, business units, production, etc. Grow expertise in general regulatory compliance for Speciality Chemistries.
*Representing the company in local or national trade associations; recommending changes to and impact of legislation
*Involved in Business collaboration meetings acting as a highly skilled regulatory expert supporting the business
*Understand the Divisional end markets and can manage product stewardship tasks with a practical understanding of the business risk
*Custodian of the Divisional product regulatory roadmap ensuring it is always kept up to date and valid
*Ensures all allocated requests are handled appropriately to deliver the service level agree upon with the business/division, where not possible to be met provides solutions for improvements in response time to superior
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required:
*Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in chemistry or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent experience). A strong chemistry background would be an advantage.
*Experience in relevant experience in chemistry preferably - like resins, adhesives, polymer, coatings or other similar environment working in an industrial Regulatory/Compliance role.
*Able to action efficiency improvement with authorisation.
*High level skills in Business Acumen, Communication and teamwork. Excellent project management skills
