Job Title: Social Workers (Care Co-Ordinators)
Grade: Band 6
Trust: South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust
Location: Queen’s Resource Centre, Croydon, CR0 2PR
Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 17.00pm
About the Trust:
The South London & Maudsley NHS Trust provides a full range of mental health services to people of Southwark, Lewisham, Lambeth, and Croydon as well as substance misuse services for people in Bexley, Greenwich, and Bromley. The Trust provides specialist services to people from across the UK.
It has approximately 4,800 staff and a budget of £300 million. The trust also works closely with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King’s College London and are part of King’s Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre. There are very few organisations in the world that have such wide-ranging capabilities working with mental illness. Their scope is unique because it is built on three major foundations: care and treatment, science and research, and training.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
*Experience of working in a community mental health team
*Experience with some who has intervention
*Correct registration body
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
*Relevant Qualifications
*Registration with the relevant Registration Body
About the role:
The role is for care co-ordinators who will be given a case load. They are an early intervention service, and we work with people who suffer first episode of psychosis. You will work closely with our clients, their families and carer’s and ensuring an assertive outreach approach.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and working alongside, our Psychiatrists, Psychologists including a FI specialist and CBT worker, nurses, social workers, and OT’s along with our employment specialists.
