Job Description:
Join a dynamic and growing team as a Senior Accountant in modern offices conveniently located on the A43 between Kettering and Corby. This role is perfect for someone with a minimum of three years’ experience in accounting practice who is ready to take on new challenges in a supportive environment.

*Remote Work Policy: While primarily an office-based role, remote working options are considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management
*Salary: £35,000 - £40,000, negotiable based on experience, with an annual review in January
*Holidays: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
*Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a half-hour lunch break

Role Overview:
The firm serves a diverse range of clients, from small owner-managed businesses to larger entities with annual turnovers reaching £55 million.
Responsibilities Include:
*Preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies across various sectors
*Completing business tax and corporation tax computations
*Preparing VAT returns and generating management accounts
*Conducting ad hoc projects as required by clients
*Engaging with clients to gather necessary information and address any queries
Candidate Profile:
*Proven experience in accounting practice, covering all aspects of taxation, management information, and statutory compliance
*ACA or ACCA qualification, or part-qualified
*Experience preparing accounts for owner-managed businesses, including statutory financial reporting
*Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities effectively
*Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence in client interactions via phone, email, and in person
*Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel
*Keen attention to detail and accuracy in work
*Initiative in problem-solving and the ability to travel to client locations as needed
