Finance Manager
up to £55K + Bens, Braintree/ Colchester

We are hiring for a reputable small FMCG and manufacturing company based near Braintree/Colchester, Essex for a new Finance Manager. This integral role is part of the small team reporting into the MD whilst supervising a team of two junior staff in the office. The role is office based.
This is a particularly exciting time to be joining the company as they have won some large supplier contracts so the company growth will be almost doubled.
Responsibilities include:
*Ownership of the financial reporting
*Manage a team of two staff
*Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Payroll
*Manage the preparation of the year end accounts
*Lead the audit process;
Project work particularly focusing on process improvement and efficiency.
Requirements include:
*Ideally a Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with 2+ years of post qualified experience; or close to qualification.
*Strong financial reporting skills
*Excellent interpersonal skills.
