We have a fantastic opportunity with one of the UK’s leading, award-winning independent financial advisory firms. This client-facing, highly technical role offers excellent support for your professional growth, with a clear pathway towards Paraplanning.
Our client has built a reputation for staff retention and a supportive, long-term career culture. The position allows for 3 days of home working which is unusual. They are now looking to expand their team with a dynamic and forward-thinking individual who is ready to develop their technical skills while working closely with high-net-worth (HNW) clients.
Key Highlights of the Role

- Path to Paraplanning: This role offers a clear career progression to Paraplanning, with structured support and mentorship along the way.
- Technical and Holistic Financial Planning: Assist with cashflow planning, portfolio rebalancing, preparing suitability letters, and attending client meetings. You’ll be integral in supporting the delivery of comprehensive financial plans.
- Support for HNW Clients: Work with a growing portfolio of high-net-worth clients, providing technical expertise and ensuring their financial needs are met.
- Flexible Working: Only 2 days per week in the office, with the rest of your week working from home or other locations.
- Comprehensive Paraplanning Training: Full access to a robust training program to build your paraplanning knowledge and technical understanding.
- Career Development: Opportunity to work towards your CII Diploma, with support to pass 2-3 RO exams or more.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: At least 3 years in an IFA Admin role, with hands-on experience dealing with HNW clients.
- Technical Skills: Experience with Voyant and IO is preferred.
- Ambition: A desire to develop your technical expertise and move into Paraplanning.
- Professional Qualification: Progressing or already holding a CII Diploma and aiming for further technical development.
This is a rare opportunity to join a respected firm that offers both a great work-life balance and an exciting pathway to career advancement. If you’re looking for a role that challenges you, offers variety, and puts you on a clear path to Paraplanning, this could be the perfect fit.
