Leisure Duty Manager - Welling
29,000 per annum + benefits

This hands-on role is perfect for a proactive leader with experience in leisure management who is ready to enhance customer care, health and safety, and programme development.
Key Objectives:
*Health & Safety and Customer Care: Ensure the highest standards in safety protocols and customer service across the Centre.
*Innovative Programming: Develop and promote engaging programmes to boost usage and profitability.
*Shift Management: Lead by example during shifts, overseeing daily operations to deliver a clean, safe, and exciting experience.
Primary Responsibilities: *Maintain the Centre’s high-quality standards and cleanliness, ensuring exciting programmes are consistently delivered.
*Operate as a part of the management team, assuming shift responsibility and assisting in poolside activities when needed.
*Uphold Health and Safety standards, ready to deputise for the Contract/Centre Manager as required.
*Facilitate staff training, maintain quality assurance systems, and oversee financial procedures to align with contract objectives.
*Manage the provision and quality of teaching and coaching services, recruiting qualified coaches and maintaining a coach register.
*Generate and review performance metrics to enhance programming and participation.
*Support marketing initiatives, promote events, and manage staff resources to ensure optimal Centre functionality.
*Act as a keyholder for the Centre, responsible for opening, closing, and emergency call-outs.
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate should have:
*A qualification in Leisure Management, Sports Development, or a related field (preferred).
*Experience in the leisure industry, preferably within a small-to-medium-sized operation.
* NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) and Pool Plant Operators certification (desirable) or willing to undertake
