Job Description:
Our client is a well-known manufacturing brand looking to recruit a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to play a key role in driving their strategic plans.
Working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance, the Finance Business Partner will provide business-critical insights and analysis for overheads, labour costs, variances, budgeting and key business performance metrics.
The successful applicant will be business partnering with various non-finance personnel, working closely with departments including Production, Procurement, Supply Chain and challenging on costs, variances and supporting Capex projects.
You’ll be reviewing overhead costs for the monthly management accounts, working closely with operational & technical teams to address monthly performance vs budget.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Compiling & analysing the annual budget and periodic forecasts
*Driving the profitability of the business by providing clarity and transparency around operational performance with insightful analysis.
*Investigating material usage variances and recommending process improvements
*Developing reporting tools and provide insights and relevant commentary, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and contributing to optimal decision making for the business.
*Stock review
*Reporting and Analysis
*Supporting ad-hoc projects as required
Previous experience in a similar Business Partnering role is essential. Familiarity with the FMCG or Manufacturing sectors would be advantageous.
The role is well suited to someone who is results oriented with an analytical approach, who can see the bigger picture and communicate effectively with both finance colleagues and non-finance stakeholders.
