The role will include working with students who have special educational needs. Applicants who are compassionate, patient and have experience working with SEN pupils would be advantageous.
We are seeking someone who is confisdent, patient and kind for TA roles in a secondary school.
This role is offering part-time or full-time hours on a fixed term basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment
- Support students in their academic and personal development
- Help with classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by the teacher
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with children
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups and in various subjects
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
