Role Overview
Reporting to the Production Director, the Digital Project Manager will handle digital projects from initiation to completion, ensuring clients receive efficient, responsive service and a well-structured project management experience. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional who can manage client expectations, communicate effectively with team members, and uphold quality standards across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
*Efficiently handle client inquiries, maintaining professionalism and promptness.
*Proactively manage relationships with hosting and support clients, aiming to increase client satisfaction and identify commercial opportunities.
*Address client CMS-related requests, ensuring timely issue resolution.
*Provide regular project updates, confirming progress with clients and addressing any outstanding needs.
*Mitigate project risks and identify additional work opportunities, ensuring appropriate documentation and billing for additional services.
Project Coordination
*Prepare and manage essential project documents, such as project plans, production schedules, and meeting agendas/minutes.
*Conduct quality assurance on development work before client presentations, scheduling necessary fixes and retesting.
*Support and coordinate the production schedule, addressing ad hoc issues as needed.
*Brief the Projects team effectively, ensuring they are prepared for efficient task execution.
Content & Training
*Input client content accurately for website projects as required.
*Conduct client training sessions on website tools and functionalities, providing support both remotely and on-site.
Cross-Department Collaboration
*Work closely with Sales and Marketing, Online Marketing, and Account Management teams to ensure smooth project alignment and excellent service delivery.
Skills & Competencies Required
*Organisational and Time Management Skills - essential for managing complex projects and meeting deadlines.
*Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills - critical for effective client and team interactions.
*Experience in Project Documentation - including project plans and meeting notes, is beneficial.
*Experience in a Digital Environment - particularly in website development, is preferred.
*Familiarity with CMS Platforms, Especially WordPress - a strong plus.
*Project Management Knowledge - experience with methodologies like Prince2 or PMI is desirable.
*Understanding of HTML/CSS - beneficial for overseeing technical project aspects.
*Awareness of Design and Usability Standards - valuable for ensuring user-focused project outcomes.
