Introduction:
Our client, a Transport provider is seeking an experienced and dedicated Programme manager to join their team based in the beautiful city of York, United Kingdom. As a leading company within its sector, our client offers exciting opportunities for growth and development. The role is a Hybrid and you will be expected to be in the office a couple of times a week.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans
- Monitor progress against milestones
- Manage budgets effectively
- Report on risks and issues
- Lead teams towards successful delivery
Skills / Experience required:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Proven track record delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal are essential.
- Effectively lead and line manage project teams, including training, development and performance management.
- Proven experience within the transport sector.
- Extensive project management experience successfully delivering multi- discipline projects (preferably) within the transport Industry with responsibility for P&L at project level.
- Experience delivering Public Transport projects.
- Any experience E-Ticketing / SMART Ticketing / PAYG is beneficial
- Team Leadership Skills : The ability to motivate others while creating positive work environments that foster teamwork among staff members at various levels within organisations involved also important trait which could make difference here.
