Job Description:
Warehouse Operative / Van Driver Part-time (3 days a week)
Working Hours: Driving: 7:30 - 16:30; Warehouse: 08:00-  17:00 (plus overtime)
I am seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative / Van Driver to join my client based in the Hounslow area. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities within the Greater London area. The ideal candidate will have a steady work history, a full UK driving licence, and experience in warehouse operations. A forklift licence is beneficial but not essential.
Day-to-day of the role: *Perform collections and deliveries across the Greater London area.
*Load and unload delivery vehicles manually or using a forklift truck.
*Check for damaged or missing items and sort stock for storage in the warehouse.
*Accurately label goods and store them in the appropriate space.
*Maintain precise records on the warehouse management system to ensure quick location of stock.
*Optionally operate a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure products are stored safely.
*Manage bookings of goods in and out of the warehouse.
*Pick orders and pack them securely.
*Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.
*Adhere to strict health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Full UK driving licence (maximum 2 points).
*Previous warehouse experience.
*Forklift licence (optional but advantageous).
*Physical fitness is essential due to the nature of the job involving heavy lifting.
