We’re looking for a talented WordPress Web Developer to join a Tech Client for a 1-month contract role. This position offers the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking tech company on web development projects. You’ll be using your expertise in WordPress, PHP, and JavaScript to build, maintain, and optimise our clients’ websites, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Develop & Customise WordPress Websites: Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins to align with client requirements and company standards
*PHP Development: Create and modify PHP-based functionality for dynamic and responsive websites
*JavaScript Integration: Enhance site functionality and interactivity with JavaScript, including but not limited to custom scripts, jQuery, and API integrations
*Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve issues related to WordPress performance, theme compatibility, and server-side code
*Site Optimisation: Ensure the websites are optimised for speed, security, and SEO best practices
*Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time
Skills & Experience:
*WordPress Expertise: Solid experience with WordPress, including theme and plugin development
*PHP Knowledge: Proficiency in PHP to develop custom back-end functionality
*JavaScript & Front-End Development: Strong command of JavaScript, including modern libraries and frameworks like jQuery
